I have Printed e docs and driven over two hours to Hartford Connecticut from the border of Massachusetts and NEW HAMPSHIRE to deliver travel documents to a client at 8.30 p.m. the night before departure -I had a older couple who did not use the internet and were afraid to head to Aruba without documents -they had called me numerous times on Friday the day prior to travel -although i tried to affirm all was well their doubts were still there that they could travel without paper tickets .i could hear the wife starting to tear up she sounded so unsure they would be allowed to travel she had informed me previous to this day that her husband had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and they had always talked of going to Aruba. (He passed away 8 months after return) and she is in beginning stages of dementia -she called me last fall to book to a trip with him to go back to Aruba at the hyatt !This was alarming as he is deceased and i contacted her son from emergecy contact info in previous travel in apple booking as i print the sheet when they book and retain for two years! In a very well thought out and sensitive way i called him to advise for fear of her well being able to make large purchases as well as her thoughts he was still alive Her son called mew a few weeks later to say he is still in shock that i located him and cared enough to let him know rather than just hang up at end of call with her . I have been referred to multiple times from that experience but also realize you cannot get The personal care -attention and details addressed on the computer but you can from a detailed caring attentive agent

I use all my Loyalty Points for extras (Massages, etc) for my clients. I also give travel mugs and light backpacks for their travel documents folder. In their folder I have the travel documents, airport maps, dining hours and dress codes, spa hours and services, any special resort happenings. They also have my app that they can download to their phone and have their itinerary, contact with me and a copy of their travel documents. In the worse case, I can load a copy a picture of their pass port onto the App.

I not only sell them a package to a destination I suggest Adventures for them to do and off the beaten path things that are not advertised but matches with what they tell me they want to do in the interview I have with them before suggesting destinations. I also check my customers in to their flights when it is available. I hand deliver all documents and make a folder of things to do, restaurants, ect. Where they are going. Also, include important phone numbers they may need and take copies of their passports to have on file in case they run into a situation where they loose it while out of the country I have all the information so replacing the passport is much easier.

Besides contacting the hotel PRIOR to their arrival with my personal contacts I have made since I have VISITED the resorts in person to request bedding or a special celebrations, pre assigning seats (when available) setting up airline reminder time and gate info to their text, sending them my personal TIP SHEET for each destination, check on them ONCE they arrive and of course WELCOME them HOME.
